As an ambassador of Eataly products and services, our Maintenance Tech is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Eataly. Job Title: Mechanic and Facilities Tech

Reports To: Director of Facilities

Job Description: Eataly’s Facilities Tech will be responsible for the total maintenance of the retail and restaurant facilities and will ensure they remain efficient and in good working condition. He or she will need to be extremely knowledgeable about commercial air conditioning, plumbing, electrical properties, refrigeration and other facilities upkeep and repair.

Duties and Responsibilities:

--Will be responsible for the constant maintenance ensuring the efficiency and good working conditions of multiple 24 hour facilities. This includes all building, restaurant and retail facilities but is not limited to: walk-ins, Refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services, Off-site Storage, all contracts.
--Ensures that exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions are maintained at all times.
--Assess the current condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment in order to properly identify problems and anticipate needs
--Maintains accurate records of the condition of all equipment and facilities in the building
--Creates a schedule of regular evaluation and maintenance of the facilities

Minimum Qualifications:

--Must have knowledge of compliance to OSHA and Department of Health requirements
--Bachelor’s degree in a same or related field is preferred
--Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field
--Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
