SBM Atlantia, Inc. is currently recruiting for Mechanical Design Support Engineer III. In this role you will be responsible for: Producing specifications, calculations, and other documents to support engineering activities; utilizing finite element analysis software; reviewing drawings, calculations, and specifications produced by others; designing and specifying mechanical units for offshore mooring systems including articulations bearings and fluid swivels; specifying, planning, executing, and verifying design work including design calculations and CAD produced drawings; ensuring proper interfacing with other disciplines and working with clients, contractors, and classification authorities; working in direct support of senior mechanical design engineer.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will possess a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in engineering utilizing design codes and finite element tools such as Workbench or ANSYS. In lieu, will accept Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in engineering utilizing design codes and finite element tools such as Workbench or ANSYS.
