SBM Atlantia is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer - Turrets & Moorings to perform 3D and 2D detail designs for FPSO/FSO turret mooring systems.
The successful incumbent will work as part of project teams with engineers and other designers.
You will be reporting to the departmental manager, interacting closely with the project lead engineer and engineering project management.
You will transfer 3D designs to detailed 2D shop drawings for manufacture. You will work closely with finite element analysts to provide 3D models to be used in stress calculations and functional reviews.
Requirements: Seasoned professional. 5 to 7 years of experience as a Designer.
Experience with 3D design of mechanical systems, including slewing bearings, bolting/fasteners, cast/forged parts and multiple assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
Unigraphics-NX required; PDMS experience would be useful.
Relevant work experience in Industrial 3D design of mechanical parts required.
High school diploma or equivalent technical school certificate.
