Training & Control Systems, Fort Walton Beach, FL , provides engineering, manufacturing, and support of defense and aerospace systems for sea, land, air, and space use. Our product and service areas include electronic control and monitoring systems, aerospace material handling systems, simulation and training systems, unmanned aircraft systems, aerospace support equipment, contract manufacturing, engineering, and product support.

Title: Mechanical Engineer
This position is for a mechanical engineer with demonstrated experience in design and structural analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate will work with the product development design team and will be responsible for detailed design of mechanical assemblies and subcomponents.
The candidate will assist in geometric tolerance analysis and applications in support of the development of aircraft multidimensional models and drawing packages.
The candidate will interface with the manufacturing and quality assurance departments to execute concurrent engineering tasks in support of design to cost and design for manufacturing requirements .
The candidate will be responsible for the creation, review, and/or presentation of reports/briefings to higher management in formal and informal settings.
The candidate will be responsible for providing and operating to budget, cost and schedule inputs for design assignments.
The candidate shall be capable of specifying and evaluating supplier components, subsystems, and services.
International travel in support of project and company technology development activities may be required.
Requires BSME or BSAE and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is preferred.
Must have proficiency in detailed design and analysis using 3D CAD tools.
Proficiency in creating designs using CATIA V5 is preferred
Experience in Finite Element Analysis using Nastran and/or Ansys preferred.
