Design and analysis of new housings, brackets, enclosures for OCZ SSD products. Modeling to proactively ensure we will meet thermal and mechanical design criteria and fit. Design products for manufacturability and to meet cost targets. Products designed using various manufacturing technologies, including injection molding for plastic and metals, die case, stamping, machining and extrusions. Apply your knowledge to select the right materials to meet design criteria.
Job Requirements
Minimum 4 to 6 years relevant experience
Proficiency with Solidworks
Professional mechanical drawings that meet ASME standards
Knowledge and experience with metallic Alloys and non metallic materials.
Knowledge and experience with surface finish of metallic and non metallic materials.
Knowledge and experience with DFM.
BSME or equivalent
Desired:
Experience with Solidworks computational fluid dynamics
Experience with Solidworks computational thermal dynamics
