Responsibilities for this position include:
Negotiate TV/radio/cable buys within guidelines reflecting client goals/objectives at competitive prices.
Negotiates, places, stewards, and posts media buys to reflect our clients’ marketing and advertising objectives
Perform with Account Management team on competitive, marketplace conditions, promotional opportunities, and media opportunities.
Develop and manage affiliate and online media partnerships and identify other opportunities to help promote the clients advertising campaigns.
Complete client forms for buy reports
Pull and submit reports for buy reporting
Provide appropriate stewardship of buys within acceptable timelines established for each client; including, but not limited to acceptable make-goods and discrepancy resolution.
Provide post buy delivery within acceptable tolerance; including rerates, pre-posts, post logs, monitoring and analysis of data in metered markets, and compensatory tracking.
Organizes and prioritizes workload efficiently and effectively. Meets set deadlines on a regular basis.
Acts as a market specialist, with the ability to analyze media alternatives and provide media and market information as needed on a timely basis.
2+ years successful Media Buy experience
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other related field;
Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources (i.e. Nielsen, Arbitron, SQAD and other relevant research products)
Can thrive in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; able to adapt to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
Strong negotiation, analytical and organizational skills
Ability to produce top-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
