TED is seeking a Media Planner to join our Partnerships team. The ideal candidate will have digital media experience and inspired by TED's mission.
We are looking for a motivated Media Planner to support our team. This person will be directly involved in the planning and executing of online campaigns for our clients. This is a fast-paced environment with lots of opportunity to learn, be creative, and gain critical experience.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and revise proposals for client/agency presentations
Responsible for creating media plans and proposals for incoming RFPs
Organize research and competitive information for Account Leads as needed
Provide support to Partnership Development Team/management and complete additional projects as directed
Provide consistent customer service both externally, to our current and potential partners, as well as internally to the Partnership Development team
Work closely with team members to meet tight deadlines
Experience / Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a related field required
Familiarity with Google DFP and Google Analytics preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be outgoing, organized, efficient, team player and a strategic thinker
Clarity and professionalism in all client and internal communications
Proficient in various computer software (Microsoft Word for Mac, PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, MRI, Google DFP and Google Analytics)
Demonstrated desire to work in online media
A passion for TED and a broad interest in the world – including science/technology, design/architecture, global development, entertainment/arts – are big pluses.
