Overview:
      The successful Media Supervisor will create and implement strategy while managing the planning, development, execution and monitoring of all types of internet media. This role serves on the management team and is responsible for supervising media personnel to ensure all client goals are met and exceeded.

      Primary Responsibilities:
      • Oversee development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that not only meet but exceed key clients’ online objectives
      • Create, plan, organize, implement and control the media processes & best practices within the department
      • Manage training and development of media personnel, setting quality standards and enforcing adherence to those standards
      • Identify short term and long term opportunities for the department and its clients
      • Keep abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances in research and buying/planning software
      • Aggressively pursue new ways to contribute to the overall agency and client profitability
      • Set group goals and maximizes effectiveness of his/her teams
      • Develop strategic media plans to increase sales, acquisitions and awareness and/or ROI from leads/sales for assigned accounts
      • Work with the Media Managers and Account Service on market conditions, CPL goals, special opportunities, campaign analysis, and growth opportunities
      • Evaluate prospective new business deals
      • Produce monthly or weekly budget reporting/schedules and coordinate projects and media requests with Account Service
      • Lead weekly departmental staff meetings and sees that status reports are done in a timely manner
      • Occasionally present at client meetings
      Skills & Qualifications:
      • 4+ years online media experience including campaign development, performance analysis for ROI driven Paid Search Campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Adcenter and various 2nd Tier Engines
      • 2+ years of client contact experience
      • 2+ years of management experience
      • Experience negotiating with large media vendors such as Yahoo, Google, Bing
      • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint and campaign management tools such as DoubleClick For Advertisers or Atlas Advertiser Suite
      • Seasoned knowledge of all interactive media disciplines, particularly SEM, display media, comparison shopping engines and affiliate marketing
      • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, and experience with complex and customized tracking solutions
      • Experience with third-party ad delivery technology
      • Exceptional strategic leadership abilities
      • Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships
      • Detail-oriented and strong at implementation
      • Advanced communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
      • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
