Responsible for providing patient care following established standards and practices under the supervision of a physician. Assists physician, nurse, and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
High School or equivalent and Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (or 1 year experience in a Medical Assistant role can substitute for the MA program)
1 year experience in a Medical Assistant role is required in absence of completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
