Enhances organizational effectiveness by assisting physicians and medication managers in the care and treatment of patients.
The Ideal Person Would:
A. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality .
B. Responding to telephone calls. Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm, supportive atmosphere.
C. Performs clinical duties and administrative duties under direction.
D. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for appointments, and assisting in obtaining, administering or filling medications as directed.
E. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes, and setting up client charts as needed.
F. Provide support in facilitating requests from clients, assisting in paperwork and forms and faxing letters.
G. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
H. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
I. Demonstrates an understanding of the organization's safety policies and practices by attending required safety programs and reporting all accidents and suspected safety hazards to supervisor.

A. Completion of a Medical Assistant degree program or certificate
B. CRMA preferred or willingness to obtain training.
C. MHRT/C desired. General Requirements
- At least two years experience in a related field, preferred.
