DESCRIPTION

Cascade Medical is a dynamic and beautiful newly remodeled facility in Leavenworth. Our Family Practice Clinic provides vital services to our community, and is seeking a well experienced Medical Assistant or LPN to join our growing team. Candidates must have a minimum of two recent full time equivalent years of experience to work in this busy practice. Will be scheduled to work four 10-hour days from 7:30 am-6:00 pm and occasional 1/2 day Saturdays on a rotating basis. DUTIES

Assist our providers with outpatient practice duties to maintain an efficient flow of outpatient care and appointments. Will assist in maintaining provider's schedule and smooth patient care flow. Will prepare patients for their visits, including taking vital signs, assess and document findings. May assist with minor treatments and procedures. Processes lab and x-ray orders and notify patients of tests results at the direction of the provider. Arrange patient appointments for diagnostic tests, consults and agency referrals, and obtain approvals from HMO Managed Care as appropriate. Triage telephone calls and direct calls appropriately, documentating all actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

LPN license or MA certification required. Prior outpatient and EMR experience required. Must be certified in CPR. Demonstrated problem solving skills; abiilty to maintain composure under stress. Must have English speaking ability to communicate with clinic patients. Must demonstrate appropriate experience with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient's care. Good computer skills including Word and Outlook. Ability to bend, pull and lift and work in reaching and stretching positions.
