ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following; however other duties may be assigned:
Exhibit a team-oriented approach and a focused dedication to performing first-rate customer service with both internal and external partners.

Organizes responsibilities and priorities to ensure timely cash collections of receivables.

Verification of Medicare/Medicaid benefits via online access with communication of results via Misys to appropriate branch and billing staff.

Input notice of elections to Medicare and Medicaid.

Maintain and organize electronic filing system.

Research and submit Medical claims received for hospice or home health beneficiaries for payment.

Payment posting and reconciliation, research outstanding forms and aged balances.

Support other billing team members on assigned project based work as needed.

Backup for other billing staff, payment posting and reconciliation, research outstanding forms aged balances.

Coordinate forms submissions with branch staff.

Summarize reports in Microsoft Excel for supervisor.

Create and modify document using Microsoft Office.

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mass mailings, mail distribution, UPS coordination, and filing.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience and Skills: Previous experience of 2-5 years within a related field is preferred. Excellent computer skills
