This is a great opportunity for Medical Collections professionals to join a growing organization located in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for self motivated, dependable, production driven, goal oriented team players, who are eager to reach goals and learn new responsibilities.

Position Summary

The Medical claims representatives are responsible for making outbound telephone calls on outstanding insurance claims for clients. All Medical claims representatives are required to process a minimum of 60 claims per day with a 5% Error Ratio or less. Claim Representatives must have the availability to work a shift between 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m Monday through Friday. The hourly rate starts at $15.00-$16.00 per hour.

Accountability and Performance Criteria

Responsible for calling insurance companies for status of medical claims. Responsible for calling patients, guarantors and/or employers for any additional information necessary to complete the claim. Process medical insurance claims in order to collect on over due payments Must complete a minimum of sixty (60) worked claims per day with an error ratio below five (5%) percent consistently. Document all account information into the client’s health information system. Maintain a minimum of 3-4 hours daily on the phone. (Telephone system logs all calls by telephone extension) Complete all requests by outside entities for additional information. Ensures quality of work is constant Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Works independently on tasks without constant supervision Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements Medical Health Insurance Collections experience minimum 1 year Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Average or above average math skills Personal Computer experience Type 45 wpm minimum Ten key by touch of 8000+ kph minimum Ability to work with a multi-line phone system Customer Service experience minimum of 3 year continuous & current Call center experience minimum 1 year Dependable employment history Work 40 hours per week during assigned facility hours Focused on production and Quality Must be very detailed oriented Prior hospital experience in a similar role is (a plus)
