Facility: Arbour Fuller Hospital
Arbour-Fuller Hospital is an 88-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Mass. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. There are also partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
The Medical Director is responsible for the overall quality of the Hospital’s patient care services including regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as accepted professional practice methods. In addition, is responsible to provide the overall clinical leadership for the Hospital for its services and programs, and in making provision for the education and supervision of all clinical staff to ensure quality patient care. As a member of the Medical Executive Committee the Medical Director works with the medical staff in providing described services efficiently and effectively.
Education : Board Certified Psychiatrist.
Experience : Minimum five (5) years with a minimum of two (2) years administrative experience in inpatient psychiatry.
Technical Skills : Work record indicates advanced leadership experience consistent with job responsibilities.
Age and Disability : Must have experience and sensitivity to supervise care for patients in all age groups and with all disabilities within the hospital’s scope of operation.
Other : Recognized in the professional community for commitment to quality, customer service and excellent patient care. Personal characteristic of assertiveness, flexibility, integrity, and sensitivity.

Environmental Demands : Physical surroundings and pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards.
Mental Demands: Minimal physical effort required; normally seated with some freedom of movement on a regular basis. Regular moderate to severe stress due to cyclical work load pressures.
Required : Ability to operate telephone, dictating machines and write in fluent legible fashion
