The Medical Lab Technician Per Diem under the general supervision of a laboratory supervisor, performs clinical laboratory tests and procedures to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
EDUCATION : Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
EXPERIENCE: Internship as a Medical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION : Registered or registry eligible for MLT by ASCP, HEW, or AMT.
