One year technical school; i.e., Gradwohl, etc., plus appropriate registry exam (AMT, RMT, CLT, RLT). Two years Associates Degree; i.e., Community College, plus appropriate Registry Exam (MLT). Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent. Must be able to relate to patients (specifically neonate, pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric as appropriate), interpreting information in terms of their needs via verbal and non-verbal cues. Pertinent experience. Job: Provides timely and accurate Laboratory test results to the physician for proper patient diagnosis and treatment of disease.
