The Medical Records Assistabt is responsible for assistanting in the release of information requests in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service. In this position you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting our resident’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the residence’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, HIPAA, State, Federal and Company policies and regulations.

Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a Medical Records Department preferably in a Long-Term Care or Assisted Living environment
  • Must have strong computer software experience – general working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
