The medical records clerk will maintain and coordinate the medical records process according to the guidelines and protocols established. Accurately scans and files information into patients’ electronic medical record via EPIC and Penn Scan. Arranges to photocopy, send, and retrieve records as requested from patients, physicians, insurance companies in a HIPPA compliant manner. Retrieves and delivers mail on a daily basis. Assumes role of Patient Services Representative when needed.
High School Diploma required.
Associate / Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience in customer service or preferred.
