Direct Hire/Full-Time:

The Medical Record Technician (MRT) Assistant Manager will report directly to the MRT Operations Manager and assist with the management of the MRT Operations Department (MRT Field Agents, MRT Routing Team, MRT Support Team, MRT QA Team and MRT Mail Records Team). MRT Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Primary point-of-contact for all MRT Operations questions/concerns
  • Oversee/Review MRT Operation QA process, along with MRT Supervisor (i.e. review calls, review QA results, review/analyze production values, etc.)
  • Manage direct reports and ensure processes are being followed properly
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly 1-on-1 and team meetings with direct reports
  • Assist in reviewing/maintaining/analyzing Key Performance Areas (KPAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), weekly and monthly plans, etc.
  • Assist with creating/maintaining/improving MRT Operation objectives, goal settings, policies, procedures, processes and production
  • Assist with IT/software improvements and internal web portal implementations
  • Assist with MRT Field Agent Hiring analysis
  • Assist with Project Milestone Review and provide suggestions/changes in strategy (as needed)
  • Assist with Project Management/Provider/Client Complaint Review/Response
  • Grow/Mold/Educate staff members
  • Ad hoc projects (as needed)


  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing others
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively manage team of 4-5 direct reports (25-30 indirect reports).
  • Must be process oriented (experience preferred).
  • Scheduling and routing experience a plus.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Moderate to expert Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform under pressure.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing/growing environment.
  • Must have strong work ethics.
  • Must be reliable.

Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 D.O.E.
