A Morgan sales representative is responsible for selling Morgan's services to select, target customers in a defined territory, either geographic or account specific as constructed by area management. Sales representatives will be assigned to sell in one or all of Morgan's market segments. The sales representative reports to the Area Sales Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve a sales quota each year.
Using consultative sales techniques, sell value of Morgans services to ensure maximum profit for each new sale.
Promote Morgan services through direct contact with target customers by cold calling, telephone calling and direct mail.
Sell core products.
Develop and maintain high level of product knowledge. Know the benefits, advantages, and features of Morgans services and products.
Develop a territory plan with emphasis on market segment growth objectives.
Using Morgan literature and direct mail, keep customers and prospects aware of the services and products Morgan offers.
Ensure continued personal development by attending company sponsored training, as well as sales seminars and classes offered by organizations outside the company.
Work with the service department to ensure that new accounts are installed properly.
Be knowledgeable about competitors business practices.
1-2 years outside sales experience with a service or marketing/sales company.
Previous experience in prospecting for new business.
Stable job history.
High School Graduate or above.
Current driver's license with good driving record.
Successfully pass drug test.
