JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Certification/Registration
Letter of pending licensure or training permit
Licensed in Louisiana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist within one year of graduation
Working Conditions
Exposed to infection from disease-bearing specimens
Exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens
Physical Requirements
Color Vision - ability to distinguish and identify different colors.
Manual dexterity and mobility
Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs)
Near Acuity - ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
Occasional prolonged standing/walking
