The Medical Technologist prepares biological specimens for testing, performs testing, verifies and reports test results, documents appropriately, maintains quality controls and assists in the training of new employees.
-ASCP or equivalent certifiecation (or eligible) preferred
-Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
-Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or Associate of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited U.S. college or university, or currently enrolled in degree program
-Bachelor of Science in related life science (e.g. Biology or Chemistry) from an accredited U.S. college or university and 3 years experience in a clinical laboratory.
Foreign degrees must be officially assessed to determine U.S. equivalent
