Seeking an extremely organized and detail-oriented Meeting Planner Assistant .

The Meeting Planner Assistant will train with a team of meeting planners to help plan the operational logistics of and travel to an average of 2-3 conferences/trade shows each month. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing administrative assistance to the Director of Meeting Planning and senior planners; coordinating rooming lists, food and beverage, special events, audio visual, and exhibit services; onsite management, including registration and other logistics; vendor negotiations; budgeting and cost control; and packing and shipping supplies.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in the meeting/hospitality industry and be proficient in Word and Excel. Frequent domestic travel (25% - 30%) is required.
