Our conferences provide top-quality training and professional development in the fields of special education administration, workers compensation and human resources technology. In addition to producing conferences LRP Publications publishes business to business newsletters, magazines, books, software and more.


As the Meeting Planner, you will manage all aspects of the conference planning and production process.

This includes contract supervision, all logistics including room set-ups, audio/visual arrangements, registration, telecommunications, food and beverage selection, as well as the coordination of off-site events, signage, expo and shipping. You will serve as the liaison with hotel/convention reps, vendors and conference staff. You will create budgets for each of your assigned conferences as well as manage conference expenses to ensure acceptable profit margins. This position offers you the opportunity to use your skills to negotiate, plan, create and manage national conferences.

Position Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience in conference planning and production

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Meeting Matrix

- Ability to travel a minimum of one week per month. Additional travel may occasionally be required
