MEMBER RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to be responsible for delivering outstanding member service and performing teller functions in a timely and accurate manner as a part of a cooperative, not-for-profit organization with a 70+ year relationship with MIT and an exclusive field of membership. Will serve as a source of information, be responsive to member requests, and cross-sell products and services that enhance the member's financial relationship. Duties include inputting member transactions (share deposits and withdrawals, address changes, and account status inquiries) via computer terminal to online core system; issuing share receipts, withdrawal checks, and account printouts; actively listening to members and other staff to identify issues and needs and propose solutions; providing information on Credit Union products and services to current and potential members; implementing and complying with credit union policies and procedures; answering telephone inquiries from members; researching account information to resolve member inquiries; providing coverage to other member service branches/departments as necessary; handling ATM/debit card POS increases and PIN resets; and participating in annual student and mini-membership drives.

REQUIREMENTS: a high school diploma or equivalent certificate of education; a minimum of six months of cash handling/balancing experience, with at least one year preferred; and member/customer service experience. Credit union, banking, or other financial industry experience strongly preferred. MIT-00009365-3
