Member and Student Records Representative

Salary up to $37, 000 + Full Benefits + 3 Weeks Vacation + Commuter s Allowance + Pension Plan!

Our client, a well-established and recognized professional association, is seeking a Member and Student Records Representative responsible for the overall coordination and integrity of membership records (accuracy, currency, consistency) with a primary focus on data accuracy, fee payment and excellence in customer service.   • Manage life membership awards application, from the research and review, to preparing the listings for publication
  • Assist in the registration and maintenance of new members
  • Handle waivers and exemption requests
  • Manage waiver requests and deferrals for fee processing
  • Update and maintain procedures in the central directory
  • Assist with annual fee processing and customer service phone calls as required
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by frequent review of the data through edit checks, reports and extracts
  • Contact, help co-ordinate and register volunteers (members, students and membership candidates)
  • Assist with assembly and distribution of training packages
  • Assist with process of contacting agencies that host events and providing them with the names of the volunteers
  • Contact clients who attended the event in the prior years and screen potential new clients
  • Help with compilation of names of volunteers for thank you s lists on the company s website
  • Plan departmental team building events/activities when applicable
  • Provide meeting support, such as booking venues for presentations, and compiling handout materials
  • Maintain excellent Knowledge of the company website and member s handbook

  • Post-secondary education (university degree preferred)
  • 1-2 years prior administrative and customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to deal with people in a professional manner
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to recognize issues and deal with ambiguous situations
