Position Title: Member of Technical Staff

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties: Oversee the design, construction, startup, and ongoing operations of chemical and slurry delivery systems in support of new 300mm Wafer Fabrication facility. Responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements to chemical and slurry delivery systems. Ensure regulatory compliance with all city, state, and federal guidelines as required. Engage with suppliers, negotiations, and securing the best value for investment and internal customers (Fab Operations). Responsible for engineering support of all chemical and slurry systems; providing technical direction to engineers, technicians, and contractors in support of operations; interfacing closely with all Facilities and Fab Operations teams to ensure smooth startup and seamless continued operations for Fab Operations; and effectively controlling costs while sustaining and improving operations systems for Fab operations.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field of study plus 10 years of experience in position offered or as a Process Engineer or Chemical Engineer. Requires demonstrated experience with large chemical and slurry delivery supply systems, support equipment, and in-line and batch blending system. Requires experience in the selection and specification of construction materials for high purity components; knowledge of specific design strengths/weaknesses of high purity chemical and slurry components. Requires prior project management experience related to chemical and slurry systems (valves, pumps, filters, etc). Requires in-depth knowledge of the FMEA process to identify potential failure scenarios for chemical and slurry systems; Requires demonstrated experience analyzing system performance and quality data, utilizing SPC, and identifying trends and potential system issues. Requires demonstrated knowledge of metrology and analytical techniques for the analysis of key parameters of slurry system performance and slurry health. Requires demonstrated ability to collaborate with global operations teams. Will accept a Master's degree plus 8 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience.
