Processes new enrollment applications, updates and maintains enrollment files. Prepares and reviews various reports/audits and makes corrections as necessary. Corresponds with members/groups regarding enrollment changes and provides accurate and timely responses to all inquiries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Processes new enrollment applications, terminations and changes to member records.

Corresponds with members/groups regarding enrollment transactions in a timely manner.

Provides accurate and timely responses to all inquiries from internal and external customers.

Processes electronic enrollment discrepancy reports and notifies groups when electronic enrollment files are not received as scheduled. Reviews system error reports and makes corrections as necessary. Produces enrollment analysis reports using the PC applications.

Notifies members of physician changes/terminations, full time student re-verifications, newborn enrollments, etc.

Maintains continuous phone coverage with the department.

Education and Certifications

Requires High School degree or GED or equivalent experience.

Position Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years to 5 years, with 2-3 years direct experience in financial, accounting and/or billing and enrollment processes; customer service background helpfull

Computer Skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word

Limited knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Limited knowledge of Microsoft Access

Limited knowledge of Microsoft Visio

Other Abilities:
Intermediate mathematics aptitude

Intermediate communication capabilities

Basic organizational abilities

Basic comprehension capabilities
