Job Description
Job Title: Athletics Men's Locker Room Attendant
Department: Westhampton Support Services
Reports To: Westhampton Support Services Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Prepared Date: December 11, 2013
SUMMARY: Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of the men's locker room for members and guests in the fitness and racquet sports facilities.

Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
Know and embrace the mission statement and platinum service basics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Deliver towels to and from laundry at Westhampton Clubhouse and stock them in locker rooms
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing in all areas including locker rooms, restrooms, courts, and snack bar
Maintain inventory of towels, toiletries, locker room and cleaning supplies
Provide bridge supplies to members
Provide shoe-shining services
Make coffee and stock beverage station
Replace light bulbs
Clean glass windows and doors
Empty trash containers
Fill water coolers on indoor tennis courts
Clean squash courts
Deliver and set up coolers on outdoor courts during the season
Lock doors at the end of shift
Collect and send soiled linen to laundry
Complete commission/tip reports accurately
Maintain clean and organized storage areas for equipment and supplies
Notify management of need for repairs and supplies
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 5 shifts per week. 2pm-9:30pm. Must be available weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education and three to six months related experience or training required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for lengthy periods of time and walk. The employee is regularly required lift/move up to 50lbs unassisted. Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
EQUIPMENT USED: Vacuum, commercial carpet cleaner, floor buffer, and shoe shine equipment.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: It is Club policy not to hire any employee under the age of 16.
