Assist in the direct care and management of
patients as prescribed by the physician, therapist, and the treatment
team; to provide age specific supervision appropriate to the
developmental level and specific treatment needs of the individual
patient; to provide for safety and crisis management for the patient
population; to provide training, guidance, and leadership to mental
health associates in a milieu setting; and to identify areas of
improvement within the program and make recommendations in
collaboration with the Nurse manager.
Bachelor Degree in psychology, social
work, or related field.
Requires at least one year of experience in a
psychiatric treatment setting with children, adults and/or geriatric
Must be at least
21 years of age. Maintain annual CPR, First Aid, and crisis
prevention /intervention certification. Must have knowledge of
psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment
Procedures. Strong verbal and written communication
