Mental Health Worker I
The Mental Health Worker functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to assess the functional abilities, impairments, and needs of each patient and to address these individually and through psycho-education groups. The MH Worker contributes in daily educational groups focused on essential skills patients need to manage their illness as well as their social environment. He/she documents clearly and accurately patient participation and progress. He/she is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team of professionals and contributes to the formulation of individualized plans of treatment. He/she performs other tasks related to chart maintenance, environment of care, patient care and transportation, as required. The MH Worker works under the supervision of a licensed professional.
Education / Qualification - High School Diploma required - - Physical / Emotional stamina Experience: 2-5 years experience working with psychiatric or emotionally disturbed individuals
