Merchandise Coordinator; ShopTV
Data Integrity Ownership
The Merchandise Coordinator of ShopTV is an integral role within the Delivery Agent structure. This individual is key in ensuring the product pipeline is on a solid foundation. The Merchandise Coordinator will be touching all aspects in the development of a product/sku. Responsibilities include sku and product set up, site merchandising, and sample management. The merchandise coordinator sits within the ShopTV buying team and supports other ad hoc buying responsibilities. The role reports directly to the ShopTV buyer.
Product Set-up and maintenance
Manage all aspects of the DA Sku/Product set up and attributes.
Periodically audit category assignment across merchandise categories.
Manage the in-house copywriting and photography pipeline.
Serve as primary point of contact for updates to copy, image, and permanent price changes.
Create and maintain bundles skus; which includes merging multiple product images together using beginner Photoshop skills.
Site Merchandising Responsibilities
Responsible for initial placement of merchandise within our e-commerce store environments.
Includes logical/strategic assessment of store real estate and allocating product accordingly.
Responsible for taking products up and down from the site depending upon stock availability.
Responsible for moving product throughout the site depending upon where in the life cycle the product lives.
Sample ordering management.
Sample management within copy and photography pipeline.
Order samples from warehouse when needed by merchant team.
Performs other projects as they come up to support the merchandising team.
BA/BS Degree required.
Ability to execute on a vision.
Interest in product, customer behavior, and the e-commerce channel.
A balance of analytical, technical, and creative skills.
A love & deep understanding of the television entertainment industry and/or sports.
Self-starter and internally motivated.
Great organizational and time management skills on a personal and team level are a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role as there is frequent interacting with clients, vendors and other functional areas of the business.
Results oriented, great attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Working familiarity with Photoshop.
