Summary: Inventories, stores, prices, and restocks merchandise displays in retail store by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. |
•Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items that need to be replenished.
•Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
•Receives, opens, and unpacks merchandise, checking invoice against items received.
•Changes pricing information on merchandise, referring to price list.
•Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
•Sets up and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
•Organizes display cases, shelves, and backrooms.
•Maintain CCD standards of Customer Service

•Certifications: Possess a valid AZ driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
•Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) No prior experience or training.
•Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization.
•Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
•Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold (Coolers). The employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
