VIZIO Inc, America’s #1 HDTV and
Consumer Electronics Company, is looking for a Merchandising Manager who is passionate about consumer electronics
and how to showcase technology innovation by providing the best-in-class merchandising and in-store
experience to the consumer. The ideal candidate should possess a strong
understanding of how to plan and execute Merchandising/POS rollouts for
products sold through retail mass merchant and club store channels. This
individual contributor will be part of the product marketing team at VIZIO,
focused on bringing the best CE products to market.

The Merchandising
Manager will plan, manage and execute product marketing and
merchandising deliverables for VIZIO’s TV and BTV categories. In this role, you will be responsible for
supporting and helping to develop some of VIZIO’s strategic Product Marketing
initiatives, while also serving as a critical day-to-day liaison and resource
to our key retail and warehouse club partners.
You will be a leader in our efforts to develop innovative,
cost-effective merchandising materials that are executed on-time and
error-free, championing the VIZIO brand while serving as the voice of the
consumer. Expect to own
all elements and project details from concept to completion in an intensely
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Functions

and Responsibilities:

Project Management - develop
and maintain project timelines, enforce project schedules, obtain budget and
content approvals, and quarterback all efforts from campaign launch to
completion, working closely with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams.

Vendor Management – seek and manage current and new
vendor partners, including, but not limited to packaging, display, graphic
design, advertising, merchandising, assisted sales, market research, consumer
insights, and print agencies.

Brand
Champion – protect and maintain corporate messaging, product positioning, and
strategic plans in a consistent brand platform that support business priorities
and goals.

Manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously, in a
fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Pro-actively identifying and assisting in the development of new
processes that lead to efficient in-store execution.

Utilize
and develop measurement and analysis to be able to report on campaign success,
effectiveness and ROI.?

Serve
as liaison with Sales Operations, Product Management, Marketing Communications,
outside vendors, as well as retail customers.

Collaborate
with Product Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Legal to ensure accuracy
of copy, content, and creative. Provide direction and leadership to agencies
and internal creative staff.

Accurate,
detailed budget forecasting and expense tracking and reporting.

Qualifications,

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated
success in program/project management from launch to completion.

Strong
work ethic, quick instincts and professional manner.

High
personal standards in all aspects of work (quality and attention to detail),
specifically in producing consumer-facing materials.

Experience
and understanding of retail operations in mass or club channel preferred.

Strong
interpersonal skills, with the ability to team effectively with other internal
departments and build consensus.

to proofread and review detailed information.

Extraordinary

proficiency in prioritizing, multi-tasking, and juggling multiple

Minimum Education required:
Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience required :
3-5
years of experience in Merchandising, Product Marketing, Account, or Project
Management.

Agency
experience preferred.

Skills Required:
Fluency
in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat.

Basic
Photoshop or graphic design skills a plus.

Language Skills:
English.
Excellent written verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
