Overview Deliver correspondence and miscellaneous items to ensure efficient flow of information and materials throughout various clinic/hospital locations. Provide support to mail center operations if assigned to Distribution Services. Provide support to HIM Retrieval/Information Filing if assigned to Health Information Management Services. Reports to As Assigned Education, Experience and Skills Requirements Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be familiar with computers and have a basic knowledge of word processing applications. Knowledge of clinic and hospital locations desirable. Licensure/Certification Requirement None Job Specific Competencies
Demonstrates ability to maintain a timely schedule of delivery and pick-up of medical records, correspondence and miscellaneous items.
Demonstrates knowledge of basic postage standards/processes and the ability to operate various postal equipment if assigned to Distribution Services.
Demonstrates knowledge of HIM retrieval/information filing processes and procedures if assigned to Health Information Management Services.
