Job Summary: Manages Sales Consultants and Sales Supervisors across multiple locations that sell and promote automobile, homeowners, and Property & Casualty insurance products within an inbound call center.
- Reports to a Director or Officer, oversees Telesales activities
Manages and provides leadership to Supervisors and staff
Develops sales and service goals and objectives for the organization
Monitors weekly sales activity and provides coaching, training, and motivation to Supervisors and teams to achieve sales objectives
Interfaces with strategic partners to address issues and trends
Resolves customer and corporate issues regarding unique or sensitive cases
Schedules staff to maximize resources and achieve sales objectives
Identifies and creates process improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives
Performs other duties as required or assigned
Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development
Compensation includes a base salary, benefits and a sales incentive bonus plan.
- Property & Casualty license preferred, but not required
Thorough understanding of products and services
Understanding of product’s underwriting, rating structure and financial operations, financial and marketing operations, and sales process
Understanding of systems issues, payroll and admin issues, and product specific claims processes
5+ years industry specific experience, 2-3+ year’s experience managing people preferably in a sales call center environment
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Competencies: Communicates effectively, focuses on customers, builds relationships/works collaboratively, champions change, and develops talent for the future
