Job Description
Job Summary: Manages Sales Consultants and Sales Supervisors across multiple locations that sell and promote automobile, homeowners, and Property & Casualty insurance products within an inbound call center.

Functional Responsibilities:
  • Reports to a Director or Officer, oversees Telesales activities

  • Manages and provides leadership to Supervisors and staff

  • Develops sales and service goals and objectives for the organization

  • Monitors weekly sales activity and provides coaching, training, and motivation to Supervisors and teams to achieve sales objectives

  • Interfaces with strategic partners to address issues and trends

  • Resolves customer and corporate issues regarding unique or sensitive cases

  • Schedules staff to maximize resources and achieve sales objectives

  • Identifies and creates process improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development

Job Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license preferred, but not required

  • Thorough understanding of products and services

  • Understanding of product’s underwriting, rating structure and financial operations, financial and marketing operations, and sales process

  • Understanding of systems issues, payroll and admin issues, and product specific claims processes

  • 5+ years industry specific experience, 2-3+ year’s experience managing people preferably in a sales call center environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • Competencies: Communicates effectively, focuses on customers, builds relationships/works collaboratively, champions change, and develops talent for the future

Compensation includes a base salary, benefits and a sales incentive bonus plan.
