Responsible for ensuring all billable events (e.g., calls, minutes, faxes, taxes, etc) are captured, recorded, billed and collected in accordance with company objectives, properly reflected in financial reporting systems, and charged in accordance with product definitions and regulatory requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Participate in product development and launch process to ensure revenue and costs are evaluated and captured, and are billed properly to end users and/or 3rd party providers.
Identify and analyze all events and event sources; develop tracking methodology to ensure all sources are accounted for during billing process.
Develop and administer procedures for error investigation and resolution.
Ensure events are billed in compliance with any regulatory requirements and/or contractual agreements.
Develop and administer procedures for maintaining accurate taxes, surcharges and fees to be assessed to end user and/or third party bills; participate in tariffing process with regulatory staff.
Develop and administer auditing process to ensure accuracy of end-user and/or 3rd party billing systems.
Develop and administer procedures to certify new products, services, technologies and markets as ready for market release (includes testing to ensure accurately capture, record, bill and collect all revenue-producing events).
Develop and implement procedures to identify, detect and mitigate fraud.
Review regulatory and contract updates and ensure end-user billing systems are updated accordingly.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
