The Manager is a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of our health plan products and the company. To succeed at Gateway HealthSM, the ideal candidate must to be able to combine creativity with the organizational skills to simultaneously manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Gateway Health, you need to be an enthusiastic team player - a self-starter who can work cross-functionally and not be frightened to take risks.
Organize and lead the Gateway HealthSM communications program that that involves a cross-functional team that includes electronic media, traditional media relations, website, internal communications and publications made up of both internal staff and external consultants. Organize and articulate brand values, core competencies and differentiators as well as company communication goals across all mediums.
Determine the most efficient and effective strategy for a multi-phase communications program to include website(s), publishing/blogging, case studies/white papers, industry communications and positioning, company messaging, social media marketing, search marketing and traditional media marketing, while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines when applicable.
Identify, develop and execute key processes that imnprove overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., communications calendar, branding/style guide). Lead quarterly and yearly planning processes to decide on established priorities and communication approach. Develop and maintain an executive-level communications dashboard, including ROI metrics. Use data voaciously to drive initiatives, evaluate success and failure and communicate results.
Managing creative people. Be a leader; own corporate and online communications. Not just strategy but execution. Strive for big company excellence while working with entrepreneurial acumen. Remain abreast of current trends/technology as well as industry standards.
*This position will require occasional overtime and travel as needed.
* BA required in communications, marketing or related field
* Minimum of 5 years of management experience and a demonstrated track record leading teams in the online media field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience leading communications strategy and goal attainment (experience with early-stage, small company environments a plus).
* In-depth experience in online advertising and search marketing (SEM, SEO)
* In-depth experience with web analytics, communications performance analysis and website data usage.
MA, MBA, or advanced degree in related field preferred
