Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps. Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality

Design and develop data warehouse projects and data marts, model and create MicroStrategy projects, logical data marts and table structures; and define attributes, dimensions, hierarchies and metrics.
Interactive Dashboard and Document Design
Design and Development of MicroStrategy reports and Dashboards
Development of MicroStrategy Application and Schema objects
Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedures
Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects
Participating in all aspects of data warehouse/analytical projects including conceptualization, design, construction, testing, selection, deployment, and post-implementation support

Preferred background and technical skills:

Strong experience developing solutions in Microstrategy (preferably v9.2.1 to v9.3), including cubes, dashboards and reports
The ability to identify and document data quality issues and data patterns
6+ years hands-on development experience with MicroStrategy 8.x/9.x Platform including Desktop, Architect, Dashboard Design
Strong SQL skills (Teradata and Oracle)
Experience using other Business Intelligence Reporting/Querying tools (Cognos)
Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture
Web development experience a plus (Java )

- Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions
- Perform project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks
- Performs expert-level engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems
- Develop, maintain, and report intranet metrics
- Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments
- Manage, administer, and maintain all internet and intranet sites
- Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures
- Monitor program execution for expected performance
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Experience in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network infrastructure
Strong knowledge and experience in VPN, Firewall, load-balancing, network security, and network management platforms
Experience in configuring and installing technologies such as switched Ethernet/Fast Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet and various routing
Experience in auditing network security compliance
