Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide earned value management (EVM) analysis for major Department of Defense system acquisition (preferably ship acquisition) programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
• analyzing earned value metrics (BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, CPI, SPI)
• cost / schedule variance trend analysis
• statistical EAC development
• integrated baseline review (IBR) execution and training
• integrated master schedule (IMS) development, analysis, and maintenance
• critical path analysis (CPM), and schedule risk analysis
Applicants must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with wInsight, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera (P6E) is a plus.
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
This position will provide expertise developing plans, guidance, and procedures in implementing EVM for a major program office and will work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractor personnel. Primary responsibilities will be to perform earned value analysis, provide oversight, participate in IBR activities, perform schedule analysis, write technical reports, prepare briefings for the customer and prepare management reports.
