JOB DESCRIPTION
Network Analyst Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience providing enterprise level consulting services regarding voice systems, voice mail, call accounting and call center best practices. This role will participate in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of PBX, IP/PX, voicemail, call automation technologies and other network management applications and processes. Tasks: Plan, forecast, implements and identifies resource requirements for network systems. Contribute to and participate in network planning, architecture design, implementation and engineering of solutions. Integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations. Evaluate new products, perform network problem resolution and assist in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 5 or more years of experience in the design, installation and configuration of large scale voice communications hardware and software Demonstrated experience in the design and configuration of large-scale (10,000 node plus) IP voice networking infrastructures Demonstrated utilization and analysis with networking protocols including: TCP/IP, SIP, H323, MGCP, SCCP, SONET, MPLS, Ethernet, IP PBX, PBX, Unified Communications, Voice Mail and Call Accounting and traffic engineering/shaping QoS in a fully converged network LEC and IXC connectivity (TDM and SIP) acquisition (i.e. circuit ordering) and operational experience. Act as a liaison between the telephone operating companies and interconnect companies in matters dealing with the companys telecommunications needs Strong experience with Cisco CallManager (CUCM) 6.X-8.X and Cisco UC product suite (UCCE, CVP, CER and etc.) Knowledge in and experience with the following Voice services software products: NICE, Adomo, CallFinity, Aceyus, Sniffer/Wireshark and Hammer highly preferred Experience implementing Voice over IP systems management tools and processes to support voice system capacity management, alert management and performance management Ability to organize and communicate highly technical voice system techniques, processes and best practices in a clear, concise and constructive manner Knowledge of and experience with supporting remote workforces (Teleworker) is preferred Experience in evaluating telecommunications carrier performance, billing accuracy and contract requirements is preferred PC Skills including Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, Excel and Word) Functional knowledge of Project Management Methodology Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience Preferred certifications include: CCDA, CCDP, CCIE, CCNA and CCVP SKILLS
