Position: Middle Station ChefPosition Type: Full Time; 5 days per week with a minimum of 55 hours per week. Nights, weekends and holidays are required for this positionJob Purpose: The Middle Station Chef preps and maintains the middle station; which consists of hot appetizers, sandwiches, and a small amount of entrees. Responsible for the execution of the station during service and to maintain the deep fryer and the griddleDutiesComplete knowledge of restaurants food preparationAble to interact with guests and employees in a friendly/fast mannerMaintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of stationAlways strive to exceed our guests expectationsCorrectly prepares and executes presentation of menu items as per chef and recipesPreps food items as per established par levels for nightly serviceMaintains a clean and sanitary working environmentMust be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy Skills/QualificationsMinimum four years of culinary experience, preferably upscale fast paced restaurant experienceGood knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation and presentationFlexibility with work scheduleProficiency with a knife and other kitchen equipmentTime management skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent listening skills
