CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING AND SELECTION: COLSA Corporation is seeking a Military Program Analyst who has proven experience with Air Force Cobra Dane Radar, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). This candidate will provide engineering and technical support in support of HQ/AFSPC A3S operations, planning and execution. Analyze and summarize the results of special/trade studies, papers and independent reviews on present and future operational systems. Conduct cost benefit analysis for proposed future systems. Provide independent technical assessment of system functionally, risk, cost and schedule factors. Conduct program review in support of mission operations, system development and integration and sustainment activities. Pertaining to Cobra Dane, the individual should know efforts for radar support and requirements. Have an understanding of all ground based radar and how the systems work together along with all requirements. Needs to have staff experience within Headquarters Air Force Space Command and understands staffing process and organizational structure. Requires experience with radar operations system management process from concept development, to acquisition, through Initial Operational Capability and Full Operational Capability.
* Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years work related experience or 8 years recent experience specifically in the military systems acquisition process.
Experience with Air Force ground radar, Cobra Dane and missile warning highly desired.
Needs to have military staff experience.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs required.
Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SCI required.
