Reports to the supervisor, campus security or senior mobile advisor on assigned shift. Responsible for performing patrol and clerical duties in assigned areas in compliance with government and management directives.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION-On-Call (schedule varies)
Day, Prime and Graveyard Shifts
Advise students and provide guidance for positive attitude and behavior in on-center activities. Perform administrative functions such as logs, incident reports and accident documentation. Act as center dispatcher and operate remote switch board as assigned. Patrol and monitor center grounds and the surrounding vicinities as required ensuring safety and proper behavior of students; resolving potential or occurring problems. Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks and emergency equipment. Maintain log of findings and corrective action taken. Respond to fire alarms, take necessary steps to report fires, assist in suppressing fires and reset fire alarm equipment.
Participate in student employability programs and activities.
Support and promote center zero tolerance policies.
Provide positive, quality customer services to students, staff and other center customers.
Promote the development of Career Success Standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions.
Maintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year experience working with youth. Valid driver’s license in the state of Nevada with an acceptable driving record.
