As a Mobile Applications Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Communication Product (MCP) BU under the QT Division-Field Trial Department. You will be in charge of conducting tests and gathering log information on ASUS mobile products for the North America region. You will also be responsible for providing direct customer support to our mobile operator customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work directly with the MCP Field Trial team in Taiwan to gather test requirements and log information

Conduct joint testing sessions with our operator testing teams

Coordinate testing resources during the operator TA(technical acceptance) process

Provide on-site support to our operator customers

Clarify issues which are reported from our operator customers

Develop a close working relationship with the customers and regularly update them on issue statuses

Maintain close contact with our local/global operator sales teams to ensure communication with our customers is properly aligned

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1-2 years working experience within the mobile industry

Experience working with mobile operators AT&T, T-Mobile a plus

Must have mobile operator testing experience on 3G/4G modem/phone or experience testing for phone or tablet devices

Must have relationship skills to communicate with all levels of customer organization including sales, management, engineering, etc…

Must be able to communicate regularly with offshore development teams, frequent evening conference calls are required

Up to 40% domestic travel required with the possibility of occasional international travel

Must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

BS/MS in an engineering field required
