Experienced Bicycle Mechanics for occasional seasonal work (Chicagoland) SPECIFICALLY WESTERN AND SOUTHWESTERN SUBURBS, BUT ALL AREAS MAY APPLY.
Chicagoland's largest mobile bicycle repair service is looking to add mechanics to the roster all over Chicagoland for occasional, well paid work. Our mechanics are professional, experienced and friendly. They drive their vehicle to the customer's location and repair their bicycles on site without ever removing them. The customers love the service, and our mechanics are very well paid and love to get people riding.
Many of our mechanics have full time jobs in unrelated fields: paramedics, engineers, tradesmen, construction, sales, and students are all working with us, you can too. Better than a bike shop!
Due to greatly increasing demand last year we are looking for more qualified people for the 2013 season. Currently we are hiring for all areas of chicagoland, from downtown to the far suburbs. The work will be in your area.
This is not employment, you are an independent contractor; you may get no jobs for 3 weeks and then 4 jobs the next. You schedule repairs around your life, so it's a great extra gig for those who already have a job. Usually pays between $25 and $60 or more an hour depending on your proficiency and the job. The business is rapidly growing, we want good people to grow with us!
Please read the qualifications
