Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Mobile Service Management Professional located in Houston, TX through November 22, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Position Details:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Cross-functional team leadership and collaboration
  • Project lead for process or platform changes required due to wireless carrier or Chevron activity
  • Management of day-to-day operations of US wireless carriers and all related activities
  • Working and thinking strategically with innovation to anticipate and minimize the impact of needed changes on the end-user community
  • Operational lead and liaison with regard to online ordering; billing; end-user support needs and implementation of new contracted offers with the wireless carriers.
  • Management of content for internal mobility websites with latest processes, resources, news and developments
  • Management and administration of the Mobility Centralized Billing Program
  • Preparation of end-user communications for wireless program related activities and updates
  • Training of mobility leads and end-users related to wireless device management
  • Define and maintain currently supported mobile device hardware as well as define future device roadmaps.
  • Certify new devices and Operating Systems are compatible with MDM solution and meet corporate security standards.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining global corporate and employee-owned mobile computing standards, policies, and implementation practices.
  • Responsible for Mobile Device Management infrastructure support and design.
  • Define and maintain corporate standards for mobile solutions.
  • Interact with corporate support teams and local help desks as required to provide training, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct research on new mobile technologies.
  • Manage relationships with selected vendors and business partners.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mobile IT related field.
  • Top level experience in support of large enterprise company end-user community
  • Experience in support of mobile devices such as BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android and iPhone/iPad devices.
  • Interact with corporate support teams and local help desks as required to provide training, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with wireless carrier operations and online systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across cultural and geographic boundaries. Ability to work independenly but in alignment with team goals.
  • Experience in building standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management Tools.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand the business and technical subjects and issues.
  • Experience in building standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Excellent research skills.

    Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
