The Performance Analyst will work directly with a Program Manager and Customer Contacts to deliver professional services to a major North American telecommunications company. The day-to-day responsibilities will involve writing test plans, creating testing scripts and running tests using Compuware’s advanced tools and technologies to identify meaningful opportunities to improve the quality of the customer’s mobile service. Additionally, this Performance Analyst will support weekly team meetings as well as a monthly executive reviews with customers and the internal team.

Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
Work with the Program Manager and Customer Contacts to develop an overall mobile device and services test plan Devise specific mobile device tests and execute these tests using the test lab, scripting tools and technology, and the mobile devices Make improvements and adjustments to the test lab based on specific test conditions Participate in the analysis of test results and develop conclusions based on mobile devices, services and network capacity expertise Collaborate with customer working teams on test findings and proposed solutions Maintain customer contact to communicate status, issues and resolutions, etc. Establish and monitor processes to improve efficiency

4-5 years of experience with network and mobile network configuration, testing and management 2-3 years of direct industry experience at a major mobile carrier or an OEM supplying a major carrier in the area of device, application and services testing Deep expertise across mobile devices and operating systems including Android, Apple and Windows Mobile Deep expertise in mobile data services and Over the Top Applications and services such as Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc. Ability to apply mobile device and services knowledge to design, develop and execute test plans and scripts Ability to dig deep into performance-related data to produce meaningful conclusions on service performance improvements, network efficiency and customer experience Ability and desire to learn about new tools, techniques and approaches for problem solving in the mobile environment Highly technical, customer focused and motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively and solve problems within a team environment

Desired Skills/Competencies:
Previous experience in architecting and implementing a test lab for mobile devices and services Ability to root phones and knowledge of security certificates for mobile devices Background in Product Support, Service Management or application testing and certification Familiarity with wireshark, Gomez, and other performance monitoring tools Knowledge and experience with Quality Assurance methodologies Six Sigma training and certification
