We’re looking for a talented and passionate Mobile Experience Architect to define delightful, functional and engaging solutions for our mobile user experiences. Working in multi-disciplinary agile development teams you will enjoy applying the right approach to realize design solutions that speak to our business objectives and resonates with our audience. To do this, you will enjoy brainstorming, collaboration, research, sketching, wireframing, prototypes and testing design deliverables.

The right candidate will possess a background in mobile design and a passion for touch based experiences. You will also have some experience in research and testing with a keen interest in further developing those skill sets. A desire to learn from our customers is a must.

The Mobile Experience Architect will report to our Director of User Experience, but sit with the mobile project team on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities :
Design the user interaction model for Eventbrite’s mobile experiences for our event organizers and ticket buying audience

Conduct requirements gathering, ideation and collaborative workshops as required

Develop scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user flows, screen designs, interaction models, and prototypes

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Facilitate aligning business objectives with user focused solutions

Plan and execute user research activities resulting in actionable recommendations

Commitment to a user centered process, quality and continuous improvement

Develop a strong understanding of our users, business objectives and company mission

Ability to manage more than one project at a time

Consistent, clear and actionable user advocacy

Requirements:
Experience designing iOS and Android phone and/or tablet applications

Strong understanding of mobile experience patterns

Demonstrated understanding of user experience principles and design methodologies

Portfolio that illustrates past work that is simple yet delightfully engaging

Experience capturing business goals and working with collaborative teams

Strong communication, problem-solving, facilitation and presentation skills

Experience organizing and running user testing sessions

A degree in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, or a related field

3+ years mobile experience
