This position is responsible for assisting in supervising and coaching Model Middle School girls' softball team practices as well as home and away competitions. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing home competitions and ensuring that KHSAA regulations and EKU policies are observed.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required, plus either completion of KHSAA coaches training or the equivalent of 64 college credit hours.
Minimum Experience Qualifications:
Prior experience working with student athletes or playing sports at a collegiate level is required.
Current state teaching certificate/licensure can substitute for experience.
Successful experience coaching softball to student athletes. Effective communicator who can work with a variety of stakeholders.
